The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and performance-oriented Frontend Developer to lead the development of our internal and client-facing applications. This is a unique opportunity to join a small, closely-knit team where your contributions will have a significant impact. You will be instrumental in shaping our product vision, designing large-scale features from the ground up, and collaborating closely with our backend engineers to build seamless, high-performance experiences over robust API functionality. This role will primarily focus on web development, but experience with mobile development (particularly in React Native) is a plus. What You'll Do:
Lead Frontend Development: Take ownership of the frontend architecture and development for both our core web platform (React) and mobile applications (React Native).
Feature Design & Implementation: Design, develop, and deploy large-scale features from inception to production, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and exceptional user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers to define API contracts and integrate frontend functionalities, ensuring a cohesive and efficient development process.
Performance Optimization: Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, profiling code to ensure our applications are fast, responsive, and provide an outstanding user experience.
Code Quality & Best Practices: Follow best practices in code quality, maintainability, and testing, utilizing tools like ESLint, Prettier, and GitHub Actions to ensure a clean, consistent, and robust codebase.
Innovation & Exploration: Research the latest trends and experimental technologies in the React ecosystem (e.g., React Compiler) and advocate for their strategic adoption where appropriate. What We're Looking For:
3-5 years of professional experience as a frontend developer, with a strong emphasis on React and React Native.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and a deep understanding of frontend architectural patterns.
Experience with native mobile development, and / or native modules within React Native is a plus.
Demonstrable experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques for web and mobile applications.
Strong understanding of API integration and working collaboratively with backend teams.
Experience with ESLint for code quality enforcement.
Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating intuitive and high-quality user experiences. Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually
